Three bonfire night events will be delivered in Rochdale next month – all completely free of charge.
Yet again Rochdale council is holding separate fireworks events in Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton. Just like in 2024, Bowlee Community Park, Queens Park Road and Cronkeyshaw Common will all be dazzled by pyrotechnics.
The first of the three displays will be in Middleton’s Bowlee Community Park on Monday, November 3.
Queen’s Park Road in Heywood will take place on Tuesday, November 4 before the final bonfire night display at Cronkeyshaw Common on Thursday, November 6.
Each event involves a family funfair and will have food and soft drinks available on the night. No alcohol will be sold and attendees aren’t allowed to bring their own alcohol, fireworks, or sparklers.
No booking is required for any of the events and they are all free to enter. Those planning to head to one of the organised displays have been urged by the council to walk or use public transport if possible due to limited parking availability.

At each event the bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the fireworks display will begin at 7.30pm.
As an added bonus for those who enjoy a fire-fuelled display, the end of November will also see Rochdale welcome a fire festival. The return of the spectacular Ignite Fire Festival is expected to spark excitement in the build up to Christmas.
The event opens from Friday, November 21 to Sunday, November 23 with three free night-time spectacular shows from 5pm to 8pm delivering a magical trail of fire and lights. Thousands of people are expected to attend the event, which has been billed as the biggest yet.
Fiery displays, blazing sculptures and illuminated installations created by artists and pyro technicians from multi-award-winning outdoor arts specialists Walk the Plank will be open to walk through each evening, with the Christmas lights switch-on taking place on the Sunday.
The switch-on will take place at 5.30pm on Sunday, November 23 in front of the town hall after the traditional countdown, whilst Ignite Fire Festival continues until 8pm.
