Bury Comic Con a ROARING Success

The inaugural Bury Comic Con, held on Sunday, 29th October, surpassed all expectations as hundreds of enthusiastic fans flocked to the town for a memorable day of comics, cosplay, and celebrity encounters.

Central to the event's success was an impressive array of guest appearances. Legendary Doctor Who actor, Colin Baker, was in attendance, thrilling fans of the iconic series with autograph and photo opportunities.

Colin Baker's warm interactions and behind-the-scenes tales from his Sixth Doctor tenure gave attendees unique insights and cherished memories.

However, the surprises didn’t end there as Willie Copen and George Copen from Starwars also attended.

In an innovative blend of fantasy and reality, lifelike dinosaurs, inspired by the blockbuster movie franchise Jurassic Park, roamed The Rock alongside vehicles from The Transformers. 

The heart of the town pulsed with a new energy, as streets were filled with fans donning costumes ranging from beloved superheroes to iconic movie characters. Local businesses thrived, benefiting from the influx of visitors and the enthusiasm the event brought.

The event also highlighted the growing demand for pop culture events in smaller towns and demonstrated the power of these conventions in bringing communities together and boosting local economies.
