Two men, aged 22, have been arrested for selling Class A drugs disguised as a popular Christmas present.
Officers in Oldham observed a woman approaching a parked Volkswagen Golf with two occupants inside.
On thorough inspection, the vehicle and occupants were identified as being involved in the supply of illegal drugs.
Initially, only a small amount of cannabis was found, however officers had discovered through the thorough search approximately 100 wraps of heroin and cocaine, whilst seizing three mobile phones and £200-£300 cash.
The class A drugs were concealed within a Lynx fragrant deodorant cannister as well as WD-40 cannisters.
Both men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A, with the vehicle seized for having no insurance.
“We all know drugs have a devastating impact on society." PC Patel stated. "We are adapting and evolving to ensure we stay one step ahead of them, and we will catch them out.
“We’d like to encourage the public to continue to submit intelligence as we do act on it and use it when we can."
“You can contact us on 101 or through our LiveChat via the GMP website. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
