Two Conservative party posters have been vandalised in the Bury North constituency.
The posters were placed on Tottington Road at around 1pm today (Friday), with both being defaced within hours.
Both were promoting the Conservative candidate James Daly, with him being labelled "Tory scum"
One of the defaced posters has the message "Vote Labour" written on it.
Whilst the other, was critical of Mr Daly backing the former Prime Minister Liz Truss.

Conservative Party Candidate for Bury North, James Daly told Roch Valley Radio:
It’s very sad that some of our signs have been defaced, and I hope that whatever people’s political views or differences of opinion resorting to vandalism is something that we all should stand against.
Labour Party candidate for Bury North James Frith has been approached for comment.
The General Election will be on Thursday 4th July, all candidates for Bury North can be found here.
