Obituary: Eileen Walsh

Eileen Walsh passed away peacefully on 23 April 2025, following a short stay at Fairfield Hospital, Bury, aged 84.

Beloved wife of the late Brendan, Eileen was a devoted mother to David and Brendan, a supportive mother-in-law, and a proud grandma, cousin and aunt. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Fairfield Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Eileen during her final days.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday 6 May at 9.50am at Rochdale Crematorium, followed by a celebration of Eileen’s life at The Plough, Marland, Rochdale.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in loving memory of Eileen can be made to Springhill Hospice.
